Description
Jimmy Phillips, 2, is excited to see the stick of candy which weighs 30 pounds and 14 ounces, and it's as tall as he is. This scene occurred at Lena Pope Home Friday afternoon when Cecil Moore, who had won the huge stick, presented it to the institution. The approving youngster found the candy more exciting than bed. Moore is on his knees holding on to the candy stick. Beside him is Jimmy in his overall pajamas. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 27, 1941.
