    Description

Miss Eleanor Davis, a freshman at the University of Texas, who spent the holidays visiting her mother, Mrs. Helon Waltrip, 3900 Lenox Drive. Eleanor is wearing a dress and skirt combination made out of a thicker plush fabric, perhaps velvet. The dress itself has an interesting lace-up detail at the waist, half-sleeves, and triangular lapel lined with a light-colored fabric. She is also wearing lipstick, nail polish, and a pearl necklace. She is standing in front of a fireplace and holding on to a chair with her right hand. On the mantle there is a branch of holly, a figure of a man and woman dancing, and a decorative container. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 4, 1942.
