Description
Deep wildcat exploration is underway in the wake of two-year intensive leasing program again has brought hope to Wise County citizens that the county may be opened to oil production. Left to right are J. T. Watson, who has lived near Chico, Texas for 42 years, and Amos Morris, who owns a farm south of Chico, Texas and was born in the county 52 years ago. Both are interested in the wildcat development. The men are standing next to each other wearing striped overalls and jackets. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 4, 1942.
