    Camp Wolters in Mineral Wells, Texas is preparing for Christmas and a big celebration. Stuck with kitchen duty left to right are Private Raymond Kraine, Private Willis Eddy, Private Charles Beard, Private John Dovayak. They are all with the Company C, 56th Battalion and sitting on crates, peeling the yams for the Christmas dinner. The men are wearing jean jackets and jeans. In the background are several garbage cans and an automobile on the street. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 21, 1941.
