Description
When 40 farm club boys of Mitchell County brought their baby beeves to the Fort Worth market their cattle scored further honors by topping the beef prices for the day. Shown in the picture are F. C. Shillingburg, vocational agriculture instructor at Colorado City (center), with two of his boys who took home the biggest checks received for the yearlings. Clay Smith, left, who sold three calves for $241.75 and Waddell Strain, who sold four calves for $290.75.
