The Handley Greyhounds are competing against La Vega High School for the Class A Regional title, Friday night at Farrington Field. Greyhound Harold Bierman (99) is shown on the tail-end of a sixty-five-yard run. He is racing for the end zone as Fred Sherman (55) of La Vega pursues in vain. Unfortunately for Bierman, he fumbled just before crossing the goal and La Vega covered for a touch back. La Vega went on to win the game 13-0. Few spectators in the stadium bleachers.
