Description
Three members of the Cleburne High School Horizon Club came to the Hotel Texas United Service Organization (U. S. O.) center to serve baked goods to visiting soldiers from Camp Wolters. Left to right, Miss Joyce Chafin serves Michael Boris, Miss Adelia Posey serves Herman Thamer, and Miss Cloyce Chafin (twin of Joyce) serves Michael Oreski. The students are wearing their school uniforms which consist of a plaid, pleated skirt, a collared blouse and a vest. The soldiers are sitting at a table while the students stand beside them, serving coffee and trays of sweets. There is a Coca-Cola machine in the background.
