Description
The Ysleta Indians, of El Paso, Texas, are preparing for the State Quarterfinals. They are practicing at Texas Christian University's home field - Amon G. Carter Stadium. They are posing for a team photograph in front of the scoreboard. Left to right, on the front row are Jim Crutcher, Jim Shoup, Gilbert Moore, Peyton Sparks, Ed Graham, Harry Rader, and Charley Porras. On the back row are Robert Cates, Bob Butchofsky, Bill Sweatt, Roger Brown, Captain Johnny Ballantine, and Max Champie. The players on the front row are in order of the offensive line. Players on the back row are in the backfield. The Indians will face off against Wichita Falls High School on Saturday. The stadium sign behind the players shows T.C.U. and Visitors.
