Description

The Goodfellow Fund is calling for donations to help bring cheer and relief to families during the Christmas season. One Goodfellow worker dropped by to speak to a family, in response to an appeal letter. While their mother is out looking for work, four youngsters are huddled on quilts over springs, with no mattress, in a one-room shack. The dirt floor turns to mud when it rains and the roof leaks. Contributions to the fund will go to homes such as this one. On the floor at the far left is a box labeled, "Food For Thought Sold Everywhere."
