The Texas Christian University Football team is holding their Athletic Council Annual Dinner at the Fort Worth Club. Pictured left to right are Derrell Palmer and Bruce Alford. They are the captains-elect for the 1942 season. Palmer is a lineman. He is wearing a dress shirt, necktie, vest and trousers. Alford is a talented young end. He is wearing a button-up shirt, necktie, and trousers. The Frogs have one game left this season, the 1942 Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 9, 1941.
