Description
J. W. Suritt, powder foreman, tests dynamite blasts with pin tester to avoid overcharge which might damage nearby homes. Mr. Suritt is shown kneeling down on a sidewalk, wearing overalls, a long-sleeve shirt and a hat. The pin tester is on the ground in front of him and he is holding one of the pins. Behind him is the construction work being done on West Lancaster Avenue.
