Members of the youth leadership organization DeMolay "take over" city government. Left to right are councilman Malvern Marks, mayor pro tem; City Secretary E. S. Birdsong who is administering the oath of office to Wayne Reeves (third from left), "mayor"; and Paul Hagens, "maor pro-tem". Reeves and Hagens both have their hands raised up. All are wearing dark suits with patterned ties. All except Hagens are also wearing eyeglasses. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 28, 1941.
