New officers of North Side Kiwanis Club are pictured here. They are, from left to right, Joe E. Mills, Warren Smeby, Bradley Burks, George Haynes and J. R. Edwards. The five men are shown standing beside each other, smiling slightly and looking off in different directions. Behind them is a tall brick building with windows. The group is dressed in dark, double-breasted suits with patterned ties. Mr. Mills, Mr. Smeby and Mr. Edwards are wearing eyeglasses. Mr. Mills is first vice president, Mr. Smeby is secretary, Mr. Burks is president, Mr. Haynes is second vice president and Mr. Edwards is immediate past president. New officers were introduced at the organization's luncheon meeting Friday at Boulevard Methodist Church. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 29, 1941.
