Description
North Texas Agricultural College (N. T. A. C.) Silver Bugle Ceremony participants include (left to right) Catherine Mae McDaniel of Cisco, Texas; State Representative, Obel McAlister of Fort Worth, Texas, Miss Doris Sherman of Brownfield, Texas; Mayor W. F. Altman of Arlington, Texas and Miss Betty Matthews of Electra, Texas. The group is shown standing in front of a brick building with their arms linked with one another. The two men are dressed in double breasted, dark suits and are wearing eyeglasses. Miss McDaniel and Miss Mathews are wearing matching outfits: long skirts with a collared shirt tucked in and a school cardigan on top. Miss Sherman is wearing a majorettes uniform and is looking up at Mr. Obel, smiling widely. Mayor Altman is also looking over at Miss Mathews, who's looking at Miss McDaniel. The group appear to be gleeful. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
