Description
Too many cooks may spoil the broth but there four seem to be doing all right with the cocoa in the young people's kitchen at First Methodist Church. It's part of the "food, fun and fellowship" found at each Sunday night meeting of the youth group. The four young people are, left to right, Dale Hasson, Miss Margaret Brooks, Miss Frances Felknor and Robert Greaves. The group of four are shown standing around a stove as both Miss Brooks and Mr. Greaves tend to the broth. Mr. Hasson stands behind Miss Brooks and looks over her shoulder as he cleans a plate with his apron. Miss Margaret appears to be stirring the broth as Mr. Greaves uses a jug to pour something into it. Both men are wearing dress shirts and aprons around their waists, while both women are wearing skirts and blouses. Above the stove is a small shelf with a small cup and a box of salt on it. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 29, 1941.
