Grapevine Wednesday night honored her weekend farmers with a banquet sponsored by the Lions Club. In this picture is Mary Jane Johannes of Dallas, Texas, and Bobby Yancey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Yancey of Grapevine, Texas. The two young girls are shown standing in front of each other, smiling widely. Mary Jane is adjusting the bow on the end of Bobby's hair braid. Bobby is wearing a ribbed sweater and a skirt and Mary Jane is wearing a dark, short-sleeve dress with a bow in her hair. Behind them is a stage with the curtain pulled down. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 27, 1941.
