Description
The long-sought widening and repaving of Hemphill Street and Magnolia Avenue was under way Monday, the first phase of the job involving the removal of trees and old curbing on the east side of the thoroughfare. Progress of the work is shown, looking north from Biddison street. The improvement, costing $178,000, is being made by the State Highway Department. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition November 25, 1941.
