Description
Doctor (Dr.) O. K. Weaver is pictured here with one of his bee hives. He is standing in front of a specially constructed hive which makes it easier for him to watch them. He is holding a jar over a bee-hive and feeding his charges which work behind glass and bees can be seen congregating at one side of the hive. He is wearing a long-sleeved shirt with a pair of trousers and eyeglasses. Doctor (Dr.) Weaver has an estimated 80,000 honey bees at home in his office. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 2, 1941.
