Description
The Pecos Valley Livestock and 4-H Club Show in Monahans this week was the first 4-H show ever staged in four counties of Ward, Reeves, Loving and Winkler. In the picture is shown the only Winkler County calf in the show. This calf was bred by Waddell Brothers and purchased by J. C. Lagrone and E. R. Clifton. In the picture, left to right, are J. C. Lagrone, E. R. Clifton, Lee R. Pool (county agent), and Darwin Purvis, 4-H Club boy who fed and exhibited the calf, which was sold for 14.5 cents a pound.
