    The Fort Worth Assembly is holding their annual ball at the Fort Worth Club to honor eight young debutantes. In attendance, left to right, are Mrs. J. B. Googins and Mrs. H. H. Durston. Mrs. Googins is watching proudly from the front row while her granddaughter, Miss Mary Ruth Googins, launches her social career. Mrs. Googins is wearing a lacy evening gown with a flower pinned to the shoulder. Mrs. Durston is wearing an evening gown with white gloves and a necklace.
