Left to right, Helen Keller, blind and deaf, and her companion, Miss Polly Thomson. Image appeared in Star-Telegram November 21, 1941. Helen Keller (left), one of the world's most remarkable women, was a visitor in Fort Worth for a short time Thursday, en route to Mineral Wells for a rest. With her was her interpreter-companion Miss Polly Thompson, who serves as Miss Keller's eyes and ears.
