Description
W. A. J. Carter, who assumed his new duties as trainmaster for Santa Fe Railway. He came here (to Fort Worth) from Beaumont, TX, where he held a similar position. A man seated in a chair at a table covered in maps and papers weighted down by wooden blocks and a small book. The man is wearing a light-colored shirt with dark vest and tie, holding a typed sheet of paper in his right hand and a cigarette in his left hand. There is a rotary telephone visible on the desk behind him. Published evening edition, Fort Wort Star-Telegram, Nov. 19, 1941.
