Description
The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are preparing for an upcoming game against the Rice University Owls. The ace sophomore backs who collaborated on the touchdown pass that beat the University of Texas last week are cooking up new stuff for the owls. They are left to right Van Hall and Emery Nix. Hall, a 190-pound halfback, is drawing the pall on a chalkboard. Nix is the crack passer and quarterback from Corpus Christi, Texas. Both players are dressed in pads and their practice uniforms. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, November 19, 1941.
