Description

Soldiers shoes after 45 days of use. Left shoe is upside down displaying that the sole is pulled away in the toe region and the heel is very worn. The right shoe is upright and has a tag with writing "11-D" and there are no laces, though the eyelets are visible and the leather is very worn. Published Ft Worth-Telegram morning edition, Nov. 18, 1941.
