Description
The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are facing the number two ranked University of Texas Longhorns at Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, Texas. The Frogs are looking to stop the high-powered Longhorn offense. Pete Layden (white jersey 31), Texas passer, heaved the ball into the air just before being tackled. Charley Conway is shown watching the ball sail over the intended receiver. Moments later Conway intercepted the ball on the twenty-two yard line. The other Frog defenders on the play are Emery Nix (48), Phil Roach (80), Jim Woodfin (56), Bill Crawford (61), Mike Harter (62), and Woody Adams (70). On offense for the Longhorns are Jack Crain (44), Donald Cohenour (75), and Chal Daniel (68). The Frogs went on to win the game 14-7.
