Description
In 1941, new residents of Fort Worth were Mrs. Bertram J. Niver and her children, Nancy, 11, left; Phillip 9, and Patricia, 14. They moved to Fort Worth from Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Mrs. Niver was the honoree at a luncheon given by Mrs. Hubert Holland on Thursday, Nov. 14, 1941. Published in the Ft Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, Nov. 17, 1941. Woman and three children, two girls and a boy, seated on a fabric sofa in front of a window with roller shades and sheer drapes with pom-pom trim. Woman is holding an open book. The woman and her two daughters are wearing dresses, pearl necklaces and an American flag brooch, and the son a jacket and tie.
