Description
A high school football game between the Tech Bulldogs (dark jerseys) and the Paschal Panthers is being held at Farrington Field in Fort Worth, Texas. In the second quarter of the game, Paschal was facing third down. Panther passer Phil Becker (30) is shown under pressure at the extreme right. He stepped back and fired a pass to James Buzbee (extreme left). Buzbee caught the pass on the goal line and scored an eighteen yard touchdown for the Panthers' first score of the game. The Bulldog defenders chasing after Buzbee are Duffy (61) and Cecil Schilder. The Panthers went on to win 21-7. "(Star-Telegram Photos by Tom Dillard.)" Published Star-Telegram Morn. Nov. 15,, 1941.
