District Clerk Alexander shown with container containing names of eligible jurors. It contained every male property owner and poll tax holder and was used to select names to be called for jury service. District Clerk Alexander, who carried one of two keys needed to open the wheel, holds the device so that the double locking plan can be seen. Ft Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, Nov. 17, 1941.
