Description
The Texas Wesleyan College football team has five married players in their backfield. Four of the players are shown serving their wives dinner. Left to right are Mr. and Mrs. Graham Kyle, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Turner, Mr. And Mrs. Warren Cohn, and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Hunter. Kyle is the team's leading scorer with forty points. Turner is a junior wing back from Weatherford, Texas. Cohn is a fullback transfer from Allen Academy. Hunter is the Rams' best passer and punter. All together the married players have scored 110 of the Rams' 162 points this season. The room the dinner is staged in has a table to the far left with flowers in view, and an ornately cast radiator behind the left-hand pair. Two windows covered with split drapes held at each side with ropes, and a flower vase still life painting on the wall behind them. The table has eight place settings. Three of the men are wearing some form of an apron that covers shirt and pants, and the women are all seated so only dress tops or blouses are in view. There is no jewelry except for wedding rings and a wrist watch in view.
