Description
Americans from Europe voice stern hope on Armistice Day. Reverend Ernest Langenhorst, Holland, seen in a suit and priest collar around his neck, as he sits in front of a curtain. He is the Reverend at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. He said "We all ought to feel embarrassed on this Armistice Day. When the documents were signed on Nov. 11, 1918, in the forest of Compeigne we felt it should end, not only that war, but all such useless, brutal, inhuman slaughter. But we didn't watch, and we allowed justice and love once more to be banished from international relationships."
