Description
Soldiers of the 142nd Infantry, 36th Division pitched a camp for 3,000 men just west of Fort Worth Sunday afternoon for an Armistice Day Celebration. An advance detail from Camp Bowie and Fort Worth Armistice Day committeemen as they laid out the camp site. Peering through the transit is Major Charles H. Dobbs, commanding officer of the 1st Battalion of the 142nd Infantry. Others in the photo are, left to right, Harry Laue, arrangements committeeman; Private Jack Ellis; C. M. O' Brian, parade committeeman; and Captain Andy Price, regimental adjutant.
