Description
Soldiers of the 142nd Infantry, 36th Division pitched a camp for 3,000 men just west of Fort Worth Sunday afternoon for an Armistice Day Celebration. Sergeant George B. Davis and "Joe Louis," dog mascot of Company B, 141st Infantry are shown here. Davis is seen sitting on the ground next to the dog. The dog is dark-colored with big ears and wrapped in an army overcoat.
