Reverend J. N. R. Score, pastor of First Methodist Church, was returned to the Fort Worth, Texas, congregation for his eighth year when appointments in the Central Texas Methodist Conference were read at the closing session. He is standing in front of a blank wall, wearing a three-piece suit and eyeglasses. Reverend Score's tenure is the longest continuous occupancy of any major pastorate in the history of the conference.
