Description
The Texas State Highway Department put up new speed limit zones on the outskirts of Fort Worth, Texas, under the authority of an act passed by the last Legislature. The law gives the department power to establish speed zones where it deems them necessary. Pictured is one of the new signs a driver would see when entering Fort Worth, Texas. The sign reads, "Ft. Worth / City Limits / Slow Down / Help Save Lives / Thank You Police Dep't."
