Description

The 1941-1942 American Hockey Association (A. H. A.) season is opening at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum with a match between the Fort Worth Rangers and the visiting St. Paul Saints (white jerseys). The teams are shown in action on the ice. Pete Leswick, wing for the Rangers, is barely visible in the net after taking a shot from Lloyd Jackson. Jackson, the Rangers' center, is shown on his knees at upper left, after passing to his teammate. The Ranger at the upper right is wing Pete Pleban. The Saints are Gord Reid (4), Benny Grant (1), Virgil Johnson (2) and Yank Boyd (7).
