Description
Visiting with Fort Worth brides. Their hobbies, recreation, duties. When one is a bride, there’s so much to learn about organizing the household tasks, cooking and being a “little housewife†that it keeps a girl plenty busy, Mrs. Carl Gibbe, is finding out. Dr. and Mrs. Gibbe, married here October 4, are established in an apartment after a trip to Mexico, and Mrs. Gibbe is finding fun in the kitchen. She ponders, “Now let’s see, what does one do with green beans?†Mrs. Gibbe is shown standing in her kitchen, smiling at the camera as she handles a bowl of green beans. Mrs. Gibbe is wearing a long, pattered dress. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition November 30, 1941.
