Description
At the Central Texas Methodist Conference were Mrs. Erle Wales Papworth (right), Reverend F. L. Wilshire (center), of De Leon, Texas, and Reverend R. A. Crosby, of Burleson, Texas. The two reverends are standing behind a desk that is covered with stacks of paper. Mrs. Papworth is standing on the other side of the desk, holding a piece of paper. Reverend Crosby is penning a postal card to his son who lives in Canada. Mrs. Papworth is wearing a long, patterned dress and the reverends are dressed in suits. Standing in the background are two unidentified men, one of which is on the phone.
