Description
The Texas Division of the American Society of Civil Engineers is holding a two-day convention at the Hotel Texas. The newly elected officers at the annual session, left to right, are Professor Raymond F. Dawson, E. C. Woodward, Conrad M. Blucher, and Professor John A. Focht. Professor Dawson, vice president, is the assistant director of bureau of engineering research at the University of Texas. He is dressed in a three-piece suit and smoking a pipe. Mr. Woodward, of Fort Worth, Texas, is the president. He is wearing a checkered three-piece suit. Mr. Blucher, of Corpus Christi, Texas, is the second vice president. He is dressed in a dark three-piece suit. Professor Focht works at the University of Texas and has been re-elected as the society's secretary-treasurer for a third term. He is wearing a suit.
