Description
The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are facing the rival Baylor Bears at Municipal Stadium in Waco, Texas. The Frogs came out of the gate strong, and never relinquished the lead. Their strong defense is shown bringing down the Bears' star back Jack Wilson (white jersey, 41) after a four yard gain. The Frog defenders are Woody Adams (70), Darrell Palmer (71), Phil Roach (80), Frank Medanich (10), Emery Nix (48), and Frank Kring (30). The Frogs went on to win the game 23-12. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, November 5, 1941.
