Description
The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are facing the rival Baylor Bears at Municipal Stadium in Waco, Texas. During a kick return the Frogs' powerful fleet sophomore halfback, Van Hall (22), tore loose for a long run on kickoff return in Waco. He shot through a flock of Bears but was finally brought down after a thirty-yard scamper. The Frogs blockers clearing the way are Mike Harter (62), Ronnie Brumbaugh (81), Frank Medanich (10), and Emery Nix (84). The Baylor player coming across the field is Bill Coleman (47). T. C. U. went on to win the game 23-12. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, November 3, 1941.
