Lieutenant Colonel Hubert W. Beyette is the executive officer for the Eighth Corps Area's army depot in San Antonio, Texas. The army is establishing a similar depot in Fort Worth, Texas, where Colonel Beyette will visit and consult. In addition to military business, he is also visiting his mother, Mrs. E. A. Beyette. They are shown in the lobby of the Westbrook Hotel, where Mrs. Beyette resides. Mrs. Beyette is wearing a dark dress with a brooch. Colonel Beyette is dressed in his military uniform.
