    Description

    The Parent-Teacher Association (P. T. A.) is staging a play at the D. McRae School in Fort Worth, Texas. The play is a three-act comedy titled "Clubbing a Husband." In the leading roles, left to right, are Mrs. H. S. Ford, Mrs. Paul Coleman, and Mrs. H. H. Vinson. They are shown on stage, dressed in their costumes. Mrs. Ford is playing an Irish wash-woman. Mrs. Coleman is shown sitting on a chair and knitting. She is playing the role of "Grandma." Mrs. Vinson is playing an unidentified character. Her face is painted in what appears to be greasepaint, portraying blackface.
