Description
These fellows work at the Wog tackles in the annual game with the Baylor Cubs in Farrington Field. Left to right are Punk Smith (3) and John Polzin (56). Smith is a former football star with Polytechnic High School and North Texas Agricultural College. The 225-pounder will start at right tackle. Polzin is a product of Taylor, Texas. He hits the scales at 240 and will start at left tackle. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, October 28, 1941.
