Description
Students of sixty years ago are meeting today's students at the Birdville High School homecoming held in the school auditorium. Mrs. Tennie Elliston Hovencamp, seventy-three, and C. G. Melbourn, seventy-two, are recalling their school days. Mrs. Hovencamp is wearing a hat, blouse, and a skirt. Mr. Melbourn attended the town's first school and then years later bought and converted the one-room building into a corn crushing plant. He is dressed in a hat, a button-up shirt, trousers, and suspenders.
