Halbert Thompson, star center of the Azle High School basketball team, playing in game against Haslet High School for the Tarrant County championship. Mr. Thompson is photographed jumping in a defensive pose. The gymnasium has rows of wooden seats that are occupied for a small number of fans. There are large windows on the side of the gym. Mr. Thompson is wearing a basketball uniform with "Azle 9" on the front of the shirt.
