Members of the Fort Worth Council of Jewish Women knitting socks, sweaters, and caps for Polish refugees and other war sufferers. Clipping reads "Socks and sweaters and warm caps for Polish refugees and other war sufferers, for whom the Red Cross is assigned a clothing quota, will result from this knitting party. Members of the Council of Jewish Women are, from left in semi-circle, Mrs. I. E. Horwitz, Mrs. J. Stern, Mrs. H. H. Miller, Mrs. Gus Landman, Mrs. Irving Klotzman, Mrs. L. Gernsbacher, Mrs. A. Gernsbacher, and Mrs. Max Gilbert. Left, behind the group, is Mrs. I. Davidson, 1933 Berkeley Place, hostess to the group. Center, on the floor, is Mrs. Ernest Marx of San Francisco.
