Baseball. Dixie Series. Officially opened. Amon Carter at the mike, Stanley Thompson, president of the Fort Worth Cats, right. Listening are Manager Larry Gilbert of the Nashville Volunteers and Managers Bob Linton of The Fort Worth Cats. Mr. Carter and Mr. Thompson are wearing a suit and a tie with inner collared shirts. Mr. Carter is wearing a hat and has one of his hands on the microphone and a cigar in the other hand while Mr. Thompson has a hat in his hand. Mr. Gilbert and Mr. Linton are wearing baseball jerseys and are holding baseball caps in their hands. They are all smiling as the listen to Mr. Carter speak. There is an audience in the background watching.
