Texas and Pacific Passenger Station. Exhibit on display at the Texas and Pacific Passenger Station. Clipping: Presenting Railroads' Plea for Equality in Regulation and Taxation. The plea of American railroads for equality with other forms of transportation in regulation and taxation is presented in this exhibit now on display at the Texas and Pacific Passenger Station. The exhibit to remain on view until July 15, consists of seven sections which deal with railway improvements, taxes paid by railroaeds, information on payrolls and the volume of railroad purchases. The center section is a diorama of a typical depot, with a model town in the background. Three miniature trains are seen in operation through this section. Published in evening edition July 6, 1939. Photograph showing an exhibit related to railroad transportation. The exhibit consists of posters and model trains. At the top of the exhibit in large letters are the words: Association of American Railroads. There is an adult male and a young male child looking at the exhibit.
