Description

Seated in a train car en route to the Sugar Bowl football game in which Texas Christian University (TCU) will play are, left to right, Mrs. Amon Carter, Amon Carter and Ruth Carter. Carter is seated on a couch with his daughter Ruth. He has his right arm around her shoulder and a cigarette in his other hand. Carter is wearing a suit, tie, vest and a hat. Ruth is wearing a buttoned overcoat, dress and beaded necklace. Mrs. Carter is wearing a dress, fur bolero, and a necklace with flower pendants. In the background are windows and blinds. There are two unidentified men standing in the background at the far right.
