Description
The head of the Will Rogers Memorial Parade in Claremore, Oklahoma, prior to the dedication ceremonies of the Will Rogers Memorial Museum. Approximately 20,000 friends and neighbors of the late Will Rogers took part in the parade. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Jesse Jones, Eddie Cantor, George M. Cohan, Amon G. Carter, Oklahoma Governor E. W. Marland, Fred Stone, General Roy Hoffman, and Ervin S. Cobb were among the many who paid tribute to Oklahoma's humorist.
